{about}
Aïcha {a-yee-sha} makes things.
She has travelled and lived in countries across the world since she was a child, and calls home wherever water is near. She is fluent in French, Wolof, English, and can hold a conversation in Spanish.
Aïcha likes to drown in waters that look like pages, and sound like melodies, and scintillate like multicolored art. She writes about womanhood, culture, identity, mental illness, race, about loving until it hurts (and spoiler alert— it often does). If it has a pulse, in short, she will write about it.
Aïcha is a member of the African Speculative Fiction Society and the Editorial Freelancers Association.
